Thank you for visiting Solid Rock on the Web.
More than fifty years ago God inspired his people to start a place of worship in Point of Rocks, Maryland.
Today, Solid Rock Assembly continues to provide a place where the heart, mind, and soul may be fed by the power of God's Spirit. We believe this is the only way that followers of Christ grow to become stable, committed disciples. Therefore, we emphasize warm Christian fellowship, a carefully reasoned presentation of Scripture, and passionate spirituality.
The Bible assures us that wherever people gather in the name of Christ, He is there with them. It is our prayer that all who come into our church will feel that presence, and enter into a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. To this end we provide a variety of ministries for families and individuals. Please take time to browse our website, and feel free to inquire about any of our ministries.
We also invite you to be our guest on Sunday mornings when we gather for our weekly meeting to fellowship with God's people and worship our Lord Jesus Christ. On Sundays we worship through music, prayer, and scripture-centered preaching. We hope that you will join us to experience the spiritual freedom that can only come from knowing Christ. It is our prayer that you will experience the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit, and that your life be transformed through thoughtful and practical messages from the Bible-God's Word for us today.
